Oba Mazo

This lineage takes predominately brown and green beads. The mazo was made entirely of glass, autumn jasper and coral beads. Note the elaborately beaded glorias.

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007Ewe Ide made this ide for Orunmila. It is made with cowrie shells and glass beads. It is eight inches long. This ide is not for sale. 
Ogun Mazo
Sunday, December 16th, 2007This mazo was made by Babalade for Ogun.
It is made entirely of glass beads. Note the variegated green and black bead and the multi-colored bead in the houses and tassels.
There are eight houses with three tassels. There are ten strands in the frame and 20 in each of the tassels.
It is thirty three inches long.
The tassels are nine inches long from the top of the glorias.
It weighs two and three quarter pounds.
The cost is $250.
